The funny star proudly said, "I got all questions perfect. Yes, all of them... I got all the questions!"

The Colombia-born actress had moved to Miami in the United States when she was still in her 20s which allowed her to have years of learning the information needed to pass the examination. The applicants are actually given an oral exam from a list of 100 questions. Then, Vergara had recited the Oath of Allegiance and thus aligning herself with the country.

"You swear that you're going to fight for the United States... I'm ready!" she continued. "They make you do the swear of the thing... It was easy because the swearing of the thing, you don't have to memorize or anything. You just repeat! I did it really fast so he didn't know if I was doing it right." The actress then added, "You know what? It's a very emotional moment for me. It took me a lot of time to get my residence even though I was working here for a long time."
