Scarlett Johansson is officially hitched! And she's already telling the public proudly!
On December 1, Monday, the gorgeous actress was seen with her new husband Romain Dauriac just hours after news broke that the couple had secretly gotten married earlier this fall.
The 30-year-old Avengers actress had attended IFP's 24th Gotham Independent Film Awards which was sponsored by Euphoria Calvin Klein in Manhattan with her new dashing husband by her side. The 32-year-old French journalist Dauriac sat in the audience as his new wife had taken the stage at the swanky NYC restaurant Cipriani as a presenter to the awards show.
An insider had revealed to Us Weekly that Johansson kept Dauriac with her at Monday's event and even introduced him to friends and colleagues as "my husband." Aww. So sweet! The Lucy star also took the chance to talk about her new baby daughter named Rose and showed photos of her infant to the attendees on her phone.
Another source told Us Weekly that Johansson looked "really happy" at the event. The new wife of Dauriac looked really stunning and gorgeous at the star-studded affair. Johansson donned a black minidress that showed her toned legs. She had her cropped blonde hair away from her face which helped draw attention to her eyes that was dabbled in a shimmering smokey whiff.
The happy couple had wed in secret last October 1. They exchanged their vows in Philipsburg at a private ceremony took place at the area's luxury resort, The Ranch at Rock Creek. This was confirmed by a clerk for Granite County. The secret wedding was held just a few weeks after Johansson and Dauriac had welcomed their first child together. They named their daughter Rose Dorothy after she was born on September 4, 2014. This was a year after the couple got engaged.
