On Tuesday, December 2, the legendary Lady Gaga had appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show, where the Just Dance singer revealed her thought on a one of the most famous Taylor in the music industry, Shake It Off singer Taylor Swift.
Stern asked the Born This Way singer whether she and the 24-year-old blonde-haired country pop singer Taylor Swift were really lovers, after a caller outrageously and allegedly claimed on his radio program. Gaga responded to the claim, saying: "I don't think she would be into that."
Gaga continued, "We've met a few times, and I can't say anything bad about her. What she doesn't know [is] I was at the AMAs or something. Her and I were sitting next to each other and she goes, 'Oh my God! I love Artpop. I love 'Applause,' and 'Applause is my favorite song.'"
A few weeks before the 2013 AMAs were held last November, Lady Gaga had released her third studio album named Artpop. The two singing sensations were seated in the same row at the 2013 AMAs and it was evidenced by a photograph, talking with singer R. Kelly between them. Despite Taylor Swift's flattery to Gaga, she still remained skeptical and unsure of the young singer.
Gaga admitted to the show, "I was thinking, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah. This chick is full of s---. But then my buddy called me, Brandon, who's my stylist, and she was doing a shoot and he was styling her... He goes, 'Taylor Swift is in here blasting Artpop so loud, and she is dancing and she's posing.'" At that time, Gaga changed her mind instantly and said, 'I like this girl. You know why? Because she said the same thing to my face that she said behind my back. Yeah, I like her."
