It's a sneaky sneaky season! Good for pregnant Bilson.
Before actress Rachel Bilson gave birth to her baby daughter Briar Rose earlier this fall, she actually strategized how to hide her grown baby bump while she was in the process of filming the new CW series Hart of Dixie.
Looks like her strategy had worked. On the trailer of the season 4 Hart of Dixie, 33-year-old Bilson with the help and support of the show's producers have found several ways to cover up her tummy.
In the trailer, you won't be able to notice that Bilson is actually about to give birth. But if you look at it closely and observe, you might notice that Bilson often wore baggy clothing in her scenes. She also cooked behind a kitchen counter and funny enough, she even stood next to a very large stereo while her character Dr. Zoe Hart had tried to romantically seduced her love interest in the series, Wade Kinsella (played by actor Wilson Bethel) with some karaoke.
On October 29 this year, the first-time mother gave birth to her first child with her boyfriend Hayden Christensen. The happy couple and new parents of daughter Briar Rose had named their daughter after the 1959 Disney classic Sleeping Beauty, where the three magical fairy godmothers called the princess by the same name while she under the evil Maleficent's curse.
A few weeks before Bilson and Christensen's baby arrived, the actress' costar Jamie King had admitted that Bilson had taken a full maternity leave after the series finished filming. The producers of the show gave much support to the pregnant star as they had the show have a short 10-episode order this season in order to work around Bilson's pregnancy.
The series Hart of Dixie will return on The CW on Friday, January 9, 2015.
