Skype Introduces New Update For Android Users: New Text Format, Picture-In-Picture Feature

Microsoft's application, Skype, has released a new update for Android users. This will give the users several opportunity to use the new features. This includes text format and picture-in-picture feature.

Picture-in-Picture feature was available in the Android tablets before, but not in Android mobile phones. Microsoft has added this feature in the new update of Skype for Android mobiles, reported PC World. Using this feature of Android phones from Skype's chat window can be taken in one corner of the screen and can be shown in the picture. Screen could be made more interesting with this feature. Annoying feature at any time to chat with. If the people is annoying to chat with then this feature can be very useful.

Skype's new update has also a feature for text format also. Text can be formatted whenever sending messages in Skype. Beside this, Android's Skype users will able to get pictures from iPhone Skype app now. Microsoft also claims to fix a few bugs or errors in this update, which is typically come with a version upgrade.

According to deccanchronicle.com, in this update chats are now load faster, especially when opened from a notification. Also supports formatted text, 'bold' and 'italic'.

Recent reports suggest that Microsoft Office Online will now allow users to chat in documents with Skype. Office Online will add a new feature called 'document chat' which will allow users to chat to one another and work together on documents. By simply clicking on the chat button in the upper right corner, users can chat with everyone working in the document, thus making it easy to connect with coworkers.

With Skype available on smartphones and tablets, and with it being introduced to web browsers recently, users can continue their conversations once they are outside the document as well.
