Uh oh! Seems like a future mother-in-law is not happy with his son's current pick.
Patrick Schwarzenegger's mother is reportedly "very upset" about his son's romantic relationship with Miley Cyrus . 21-year-old Patrick is the son of Maria Shriver and former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed to the public his new relationship with We Can't Stop singer Miley Cyrus just last month.
Despite Miley supporting the Schwarzenegger family by attending several family events which included a screening of Maria's new film Still Alice, an insider who is reportedly close to the Schwarzenegger family revealed that Patrick's mother is finding her son's new beau really hard to accept. The insider told HollywoodLife.com, "She is absolutely not okay with him dating Miley. It's getting really messy now. It's got her very upset."
The insider also said that Maria is so concerned about her son's relationship that she has ultimately decided to take matters into her own hands. The source added that Maria is actually planning to sit down with her son and have a serious talk with him about his future with the 22-year-old singer when they spend Thanksgiving together as a family.
The insider also added, "This is putting a huge strain on the holidays for Maria, she's so worried where this whole thing could lead Patrick. Maria is planning have a one on one with Patrick over the holidays because she wants to talk some sense into him."
Miley split with music producer earlier this year and was formerly engaged to Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth but also split on September 2013. On the other hand, Patrick split from girlfriend Taylor Burns earlier this year after a having a two-year relationship with her.
