Uh oh! Seems some fans are not satisfied with the casting of the film "Fifty Shades of Grey" - particularly to the one playing the part of Mia Grey, 24-year-old British singer and actress, Rita Ora.
The comments and feedbacks were seen to be red after a photo of the actress in the film was released.
Rita Ora was originally seen fitting to the role as she also has that feisty attitude that seems to fit her character perfectly. However, after her first official photo in her costume that was released Wednesday afternoon, some hard core fans were not that pleased.
Ora donned a short brown bob, pearl earrings and a floral dress. To be fairness to the fans of the original novel, the actress looks nothing like the blonde-haired beauty that we normally see on the red carpet. However, it does fit the character description of the book's character, Mia Grey.
Once the picture was published for the first time on the movie's Facebook page, plenty of fans went in pretty hard on the actress. One fan wrote, "Who the heck did the casting? Could they not find the actual hot people? The ones actually described in the book? Omg.. She looks scary." Another fan also posted, "She is too old to play Mia. Now I don't want to see the movie. She DOES not depict Mia AT ALL."
A lot of the comments also say the same thing. Another fan wrote, "So not what I pictured from the book. I can't believe [book writer] EL James allowed this." Universal had also released the first photos of Christian's mother and father who were played by Marcia Gay Harden and Andrew Airlie respectively but for them, fans were very much receptive positively.
What do you think? Fifty Shades of Grey hits the theaters on Valentine's Day 2015.
