Oh no! Seems like victims of rape can also be someone as famous as Shia LeBeouf!
The Transformers star claims that he was raped by an unknown woman during his silent art project #IAMSORRY last February. In a recent interview with Dazed Digital, the 28-year-old actor revealed that a woman had took advantage of him while checking out the installation. At that time, LaBeouf had allowed visitors to sit across from him in complete silence inside a room at the Cohen Gallery in Los Angeles.
According to the Fury actor, "One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me." The actor admitted in the interview when he was asked if anything "unsettling" had happened to him.
He continued, "There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with disheveled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well. On top of that my girl [Mia Goth] was in line to see me, because it was Valentine's Day and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event - we were separated for five days, no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it travelled through the line." The young actor also added, "When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn't speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful."
LaBeouf's art installation was after he attended his Berlin premiere of Nymphomaniac wearing a brown paper bag on his head which wrote: "I am not famous anymore."
This was really shocking and unsettling for the actor and his girl. Imagine this happening to someone really famous!
