Rita's Italian Ice announced that it will be introducing its newest flavor, SOUR PATCH KIDS Red Italian Ice, on Friday in its 625 stores across the United States.
Those who head to Rita's Italian Ice on Friday can ask for a free sample of the cold dessert at any participating stores nationwide, said a press release issued by Rita's Italian Ice on Friday. The limited-time offer, from Friday until July 22, 2012 will be available at the stores stretched across 19 states, and is promised to pack a powerful punch with its sour and sweet flavors, noted the press release.
"Our new SOUR PATCH KIDS Red Italian Ice is sure to be a big hit with kids and fans of the wildly popular candy," Jonathan Fornaci, chief executive officer, Rita's Italian Ice, said for the press release. "Our seasonal flavors Cantaloupe and Honeydew, made with fresh fruit, are my personal favorites!"
In addition to the Italian ice based on the popular candy, Rita's Italian Ice will release two new seasonal flavors, Cantaloupe Ice and Honeydew Ice, for a limited time as well, beginning on Friday, June 29 at participating Rita's locations around the country. It was not noted when the flavors would be removed from the market, nor if the dates might be extended due to popular demand.
Rita's Italian Ice, with the motto "Ice, Custard, Happiness," extended out of the United States to international locations like China, India, and the ABC Islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao, said the press release, and will continue to build more franchises globally, noted the press release.
In addition to the Sour Patch Kids Red Italian Ice, Cantaloupe Ice, and Honeydew Ices available this summer, Rita's Italian Ice generally offers frozen treats like their famous Italian Ices made from real fruits and available in 60 flavors, Old Fashioned Frozen Custard, layered Gelalti, and its exclusive Misto and Blendini creations, listed the press release.
