DC fans all over the world were delighted with the announcement of upcoming DC movies from 2015-2020, along with the new cast and characters for its stand-alone films such as Aquaman and The Flash. But here is one more interesting fact- notable director Zack Snyder, the person who helmed blockbuster films 300 and of course, Man of Steel, was confirmed to be directing a two-part Justice League movie.
Fans are now speculating what is going to be the plot of this 2-part film, since the 2nd part is not really a sequel of the first film, but as the title suggests, it is a single story split over 2 films. We wonder how Snyder could make them interesting enough for fans to eagerly wait for the 2nd part with 2 years as interval! The only thing that was confirmed was that Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams will all reprise their roles in the upcoming film.
Meanwhile, the director is busy finishing up Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, in time for its rumored trailer this coming December. The crew and some of the cast are currently filming in New Mexico, and will be staying there for a few more days before Snyder finally says it's a wrap.
Moreover, Snyder has confirmed that he will go back to Detroit as soon as filming for Justice League movie begins. "For us, it's been a perfect location because we have Gotham City. I know there's an effort to clean up the blight here in Detroit, but for us it's been awesome because we've used it," Snyder remarked.
The director, however, mentioned that security will be tighter the next time around, because he doesn't want to have spoilers making rounds in the internet while the movie is still being shot. We just want the movie to be surprising when it comes out. We do a lot of crazy stuff in the movie so I wouldn't want you to get short-changed by the Internet, which loves to do that, " Snyder explained.
