Newly married couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted in their Intercontinental Sydney Hotel in Australia last week looking like they were engaging in a heated argument! The 39-year old actress was also pictured with a cigarette in her hand right after Brad left her in their room's terrace. A source told In Touch, "When Brad threw up his arms, you could see the frustration on his face. He was clearly exasperated with her. They kept talking over each other and putting their hands up in anger. They were upset but getting nowhere. Angie looked like she was on the verge of tears."
As seen in the images shown on Dailymail UK, the Academy Award winner actress Jolie looked like she was contemplating on what happened earlier during a heated exchange with her long time partner and new husband Pitt. Another source told In Touch that "Brad doesn't want her smoking at all." Could it possibly be part of the issue between the couple, or Jolie just smoked to ease her up right after their disagreement?
Whatever is the case, smoking is still bad for the A-list actress since she just underwent a double mastectomy last year, having discovered that she was a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, which causes cancer. If we recall, Jolie's mother died from ovarian cancer at a young age of 56 in 2007.
Interestingly, the couple attended the red carpet premiere of their new movie Unbroken that same evening. One insider revealed that the A-list couple were distant during the event, after which Pitt flew off on a private jet, while Jolie took another.
Meanwhile, Jolie talked about her new season as a married woman in an interview with Tom Brokaw on The Today Show last Tuesday. "We have more moments where I say,'I'm going to be a better wife. I'm going to learn to cook' and Brad says, 'Oh, honey, know what you're good at.' But I do like a, 'No, no, no, I'm going to get this wife thing down.' He knows my limitations and where I'm a good wife and a good mom," the actress said.
