Blackberry, with its great come back wants to lure iPhone users to ditch their phones in exchange of a new Blackberry Passport.

Blackberry has announced a Blackberry Passport trade up program that allows iPhone users to trade in any model of iPhone from 4s to iPhone 6. Users will not only get a new Blackberry Passport, they may also get up to $550 of rebate.

The trade-in value depend on the iPhone the customer is trading. The iPhone 4S worth up to $90 and the iPhone 6 worth up to $400.All traded iPhone must be in good and working condition, with every iPhone traded up Blackberry tops it with additional $150.

The Canadian tech giant's program is promising with its money incentive. But before trading your old iPhone. Check out the mechanics.

According to CNET, "The deal will run through February 13, but it's good only in North America. Customers must buy the $599 to $699 unlocked Passport phone through either BlackBerry's website or Amazon. The trade-in amount comes in the form of a Visa prepaid card."

After a successful purchase of the Blackberry Passport on Amazon or on BB's online store. Customer will pack the iPhone alongside with a Blackberry Passport proof of purchase, and ship it to Blackberry. The iPhone is subject for inspection of damages and customer may receive their money within six weeks.

Individual consumers will be paid via a Visa Prepaid Card from MetaBank and mailed to the address you provided on your quote, 6 weeks after the Trade-in Center receives both eligible device (s) and a valid proof of purchase(s) and confirms your eligibility for the program, CNET also added.

Meanwhile as noted from the FAQ of the trade-up program, the trade-in value is determined by the iPhone's condition. The phone must be fully functional and void of any liquid- based damage, the user lock must be disengaged and the "Find My iPhone" feature disabled. There also should not be any bleeding or cracks in the screen, and the phone must have a valid ESN, IMEI or MEID number.
