X-Men Apocalypse Cast Rumors: Chloe Grace Moretz, Elle Fanning, Hailee Steinfeld In The List

| By

Up and coming stars Chloe Grace Moretz (If I Stay), Elle Fanning (Maleficent) and Hailee Steinfeld (Enders Game) are reportedly being eyed to to take on the role of the younger version of Jean Grey, for the much- anticipated movie X-Men: Apocalypse, as recently reported by The Wrap. Moreover, Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar), Ben Hardy (East Enders, a British TV series) and Charlie Rowe (Neverland) are also reportedly being considered for the role of young Cyclops. The actors, however, are still going to have a look-test or read scripts for the said role, so a lot of things can still happen.

Moreover, Marvel has not confirmed whether Jean Grey and Cyclops will be one of the major casts in X-Men: Apocalypse, but rumors have circulated that Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and Michael Fassbender as Magneto are the ones to watch out for in this next film.

According to an insider of Hollywood Reporter, the Studio will focus on these 2 characters, whose relationship will even grow stronger in the film. There is no specific plot revealed yet to date, but at least we know the attention on Mystique and Magneto is the prime concentration this time around.

In an interview by Collider to the film's writer Simon Kinberg back in October, X:Men: Days of the Future Past has helped him dig into the kind of of relationship Mystique has with both Magneto and Professor X. "Part of what's really interesting about Mystique's character is that she is, in some ways, the child of both Erik and Charles," Kinberg told Collider. "She grew up with Charles and then she sort of became a woman with Erik, so her being the cross-pollination, if you will, of those two philosophies and those two men is something we can explore in the movie too," Kinberg explained.

X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled to hit the big screens on May 18, 2016. Keep visiting Franchise Herald for more details on X-Men:Apocalypse.
