Google just removed a game from its Android app store named "Ass Hunter" where players hunt and kill naked gay men after it raised concerns over gender equality and respect.
Ass Hunter is a top-down, first-person shooter game was uploaded by Roman Matrosov and game developer AppBay on Nov.5 and was already downloaded more than 10,000 times and given 4-star rating before Google came to notice about its highly implicit, and rather violent content.
The game's description read, "Popular game hunting on gays is now on android! Play and do not be gay!"
"Legendary game, where you are hunter and your mission is to kill gays as much as you can or escape between them to the next level. Gays may be hidden in bushes and unexpectedly catch you. Remember! When they catch you they will do with you whatever they want," followed by a winking face.
To win Ass Hunter, players are required to kill as many gay men as possible by shooting them with a shotgun.
If players fail to shoot the gays, the will swarm your player and rape you. The game shows a cartoon depiction of the men having sex with the hunter.
Meanwhile, several users have flagged the game as offensive, saying, "Totally offensive. Whom even thought up this game even if it was meant to be a joke, needs to be better educated. It is small minded people like you that continue to give gay people a bad rap. Grow up and stop being so immature."
The game's description still remains on Google if you try to search for it, though the page has now been taken down.
Before it was taken down, the game's last update had a content rating of "Everyone"
Apparently, Ass Hunter has already been widespread in the Internet since 2006 as Flash games playable on the PC.
However, it was brought back to the public's attention after it was moved to the Google Play Store.
