Is the new line of fashion going to be environmental or going green? In this case, a celebrity plans to start her own Vegan clothing line. Guess who?
29-year-old two-time Grammy winner Colbie Caillat has already achieved so much in her life. She already sold more than six million records, had written songs for other stars including Hillary Duff and she also appeared on Saturday Night Live. However, even with all that accomplishments, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter still has room in her life to do something more, beyond what she's currently doing now. In an interview with Us Weekly, Caillat revealed that she also wants to start her own vegan clothing line, which would be in line to the several years of hard work as an animal activist and also as a dedicated vegetarian."
According to Caillat, making a vegan clothing line is her ultimate goal. Since she is an advocate for all-vegan garments, the singer chooses to don stage and street looks from designers like Stella McCartney, Maje, and Nicole Miller, whose clothing line is not in any way produced in a manner that harms animals.
When the pop singer-songwriter is not volunteering her time with the ASPCA or Farm Sanctuary, she gives back by trying to empower her audience through her latest single, Try from her album Gypsy Heart. She said, "I wrote Try because of the pressures I've felt my entire life . . . and I'm relieved that the reaction from the song is so positive - helping women and men."
