Celebrity couple Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett have ultimately decided that they will be working on to save their marriage after a very stressful year. The events that occurred have all been noted down by the media including a public cheating scandal, Kendra flushing her wedding rings down the toilet bowl (ouch!), and airing all their dirty laundry on national television.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Kendra had opened up about her marriage status currently. She said, "It's going to take a lifetime to trust him again," she admitted, to which her husband replied, "I will spend my life trying to get Kendra to trust me again."
But the former Playmate seems quite satisfied with the story her husband told her on the alleged affair with a a transgender model in June. She said, "All I can say is I believe Hank. I love Hank. And he's proven to me that he's worth forgiving and fighting for," she told Us. "He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and unfortunate things took place. He's very gullible and naive."
Though the couple is trying hard to build their relationship back to its strongest, 29-year-old Kendra recalls her distraught state after the shocking news broke a few months ago. She added, "I would cry myself to sleep every night, not knowing what happened," she recalled. "I was trying to get what I could out of Hank, but I couldn't control my rage. It became very volatile between us."
The couple had two young children - 4 year old Hank IV and 6 months old Alijah.
Baskett, on the other hand, said, "Our relationship is still day-to-day. I'm still working on regaining Kendra's trust."
Still, several questions are left unanswered, liked the mystery of Baskett's alleged affair. We all hope that Baskett is speaking the truth though, for the sake of his family and children.
