Move over Kim! Seems the original butt-baring celebrity is back!
Around 20 years ago, even before the reality star, Kim Kardashian's most revealing pictures came out in the paper, Friends alum Jennifer Aniston, made it to the front cover of the Rolling Stone magazine back in March 1996.
The 45-year-old actress looked back and reminisced on Extra at the Hollywood premiere of Horrible Bosses 2 on Thursday, November 20. The always gorgeous Aniston, who was as hot as she was two decades ago, had boasted that her bare butt appeared "way" before Kim's did. The star quipped, "Oh, way, yeah. I was an original."
The We're The Millers actress continued to talk about her former pose in the magazine,, "[Mine] was just innocent, there's nothing aggressive about that." The funny Aniston, who played Rachel in the most loved series of all time, Friends, had a "Rachel" moment, saying "Sorry, Kim K.." She jokingly remarked that after Extra had called her a "pioneer."
At that time, Justin Theroux's fiancée had an arguably tasteful nude in-bed cover, which was shot by Mark Seliger.
Aniston's vivacious 1996 RS cover had marked her first solo cover for the magazine. In 1995, the Marley & Me actress had posed for the magazine with her four Friends costars.
Right now, Aniston might not be posing with any revealing pictures in any magazine as she is trying to gain weight for her new film, Cake. She admitted that she's stopped working out to gain a few pounds. Her dedication to her work impressed her colleagues. In an interview with one of her co-stars Camille Guaty on November 20 at a Hollywood Foreign Press Association event for the 2015 Golden Globes, she talked about working with Aniston on the upcoming film.
The 36-year-old actress said, "She's depicting a character you've never seen her do before, and it's justsuch an intense film, so emotionally raw." When she was asked about Aniston's make-under, which actually required her to gain weight and to film without makeup, Guaty revealed, "It's so funny, because a lot of people were like, 'Is she pregnant?' I'd say, 'No,' and they'd say, 'But she looks so dowdy.' I'm like, 'This is the role that she's playing!' Knowing the story, it's just a complete transformation."
