The very fashionable Anna Wintour has reportedly got issues with working with rats - literally!
Vogue's sassy editor-in-chief Wintour has reportedly refused to work at the World Trade Center since it's apparently infested with rodents. Yes, it's the new 1 World Trade Center offices of the fashion bible, Vogue magazine. And of course, Wintour is not happy.
According to reports, the building's 25th- and 26th-floor digs of the Condé Nast publication are shockingly overrun with vermin. Wintour reacted and has issued an edict to staffers to clear her glass-walled office of the crawling furry pests before she makes her presence into the building.
The building's administrator is lucky that the "Devil Wears Prada" is not expected to take up a full-time residence at the America's tallest building until after the coming New Year. An employee at Vogue had reportedly wrote to Gawker on Friday afternoon and said that there are so many rodents walking around 1 WTC that the editorial department of the magazine might be postponing its move from the old Times Square offices. According to a staff, "A serious concern is all the clothing that could get nibbled through."
Some people though were actually delighted of the publication's rodent problem and said in a chatroom on the site SkyscraperCity.com. A comment wrote, "Security couldn't even stop BASE jumpers from entering the building and leaping from the top. You think they could stop some rats?"Another commenter said, "Rats probably wouldn't want to live on the 25th and 26th floors of a high-rise,"adding, "It's possible that they have mice and freaked-out Condé Nasties are confusing their rodents."
The publication has recently revealed that they are moving their office in an online story named, "Batten the hatches, lower Manhattan, because we're coming for you." The magazine also posted in their Instagram account has pictures of models and singer Will.i.am moving boxes.
