He may be the bad boy of pop, but Justin Bieber seems determined to put his dodgy past behind him, so has decided to go on a self-proclaimed "mission" to learn how to spread the word of God.
According to TMZ, the 20-year-old will be spending two weeks at the Rancho Mirage outside Palm Springs, where he will be under the instructor of a pastor as he learns how to become a better Christian.
The star was snapped at the resort on Monday, with the book Occupy All Streets on the table next to him, which teaches how to spread the word of God and "resist bad temptations."
The teachings appear to come from the religious course taught by Pastor Carl Lentz, who reportedly baptized Justin back in June.
And the Beauty and the Beat hit maker will be fully focused on the material in hand without his partying lifestyle to distract him, as the site reports, "Justin has exiled himself from friends, alcohol, weed and everything else that doesn't involve the good Lord."
It's not known whether Justin will follow in the footsteps of his pastor pal and become a missionary, but the star has always been proud of his faith, regularly attending Hillsong Church services with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
And earlier this month the singer brought along some new members to the New York church as he was spotted at a Sunday service with friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin.
He recently unfollowed Selena Gomez on Instagram, which started rumors about the ending of their relationship for good.
