The first 64-bit powered mid-ranger HTC Desire 820 might have another variant as reports say.
HTC has recently launched its HTC Desire 820q the duamsim variant of the Desire 820 with lower specs, but according to reports there might be another variant of the midrange phone from HTC.
According to reports China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification has recently certified a handset with the model name HTC D820ws
As we've seen from the other variants of the HTC Desire they do not sport the same 64-bit processor on the Desire 820, the first midrange phone to feature a 64-bit processor.
Compared to its other variants the Desire 820 is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 615 SOC, the 820q with a quad core Snapdragon 410 chip , the 820 mini that recently leaked on HTC's Chineses website powered by the S 410 CPU and the 820s that features an octa core 64 -bit MediaTek processor.
GSMDome also reported that the device might just come with the MediaTek MT 6592 processor which is based on the 32-bit Cortex A 7 in an octa core configuration, and will not feature the same second gen Soc.
The Desire 820ws unlike its siblings it may not support LTE-capability, while an upgrade of a clock speed of 1.7 GHz is expected to run the Desire 820ws.
The Desire 820ws may also sport the same 13MP autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 lens, BSI sensor, HDR and LED flash that allows users to shoot 1080p videos at 30 fps and an 8MP front snapper like from the other variants of the Desire 820. A battery of 2600mAh capacity that can provide up to 22.4 hours of talk time and up to 424 hours of standby time in 3G network.
