Uh oh! Another celebrity who has a very nasty reputation? Or another scandal?
Janice Dickinson had apparently came out to the public and accused 77-year-old comedian, Bill Cosby, of sexually assaulting her. Entertainment Tonight had an exclusive interview with the 59-year-old supermodel Dickenson. She claimed that the comedian had raped her way back in 1982.
Dickinson recalled that she first met the comedian at the time when her agent had set up a meeting with him. This was for an opportunity to work on The Cosby Show. The duo later reconnected after Dickinson's temporary stop in rehab and the comedian invited her afterwards to Lake Tahoe to look at him perform and also to offer her the work they talked about previously.
The model had also claimed that while they were together in Lake Tahoe, the said comedian had given her a glass of wine and also a pill for her cramps resulting from her period. According to the model, she recalled, "The next morning I woke up, and I wasn't wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out thinking that I had been sexually assaulted by this man," she disclosed to Entertainment Tonight.
Dickinson also recalled that she previously attempted to write about the alleged incident in her 2002 autobiography entitled No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel. However, she said that she was pressured by the comedian's lawyers not to push through. She then added that, "I'm doing this [now] because it's the right thing to do, and it happened to me, and this is the true story. I believe all the other women."
Cosby refused to comment on the issue.
The supermodel is actually the third woman to have come out in the past week and accuse the comedian of sexual abuse.
