Bill Cosby 77: Netflix Delays Release Of Bill Cosby Comedy After Rape Accusations Surfaced

| By

Netflix won't air a new Bill Cosby special after three women slammed the comedian with serious rape accusations.

"Bill Cosby 77" was due to premiere on Nov. 27, but Netflix announced it was postponing the show Tuesday - just hours after a third woman claimed the comedian drugged and raped her.

Netflix did not say why it delayed the special and did not announce when it could air.

NBC is under similar pressure to cancel an upcoming sitcom starring the comedian.

The network has not announced any plans to postpone or abandon the slated 2015 series.

Three women have publicly accused the 77-year-old of assault after comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby a rapist during a stand-up gig in Philadelphia last month.

On Tuesday, Janice Dickinson claimed Cosby raped her in 1982.

The former supermodel said he gave her "wine and a pill" that made her black out during a trip to Lake Tahoe. When she woke up the next morning, she remembered being sexually assaulted before she passed out, she said.

Publicist Joan Tarshis claimed Cosby attacked her a decade earlier.

On Sunday, she claimed the comedian lured her into his home in 1969 when she was a starstuck, aspiring actress.

There, he drugged her and forced her to perform oral sex on him, she claimed.

Barbara Bowman was the first alleged victim to come forward: Last week, she claimed Cosby raped her in 1985 inside his New York City brownstone.

A fourth woman penned a note on Facebook Tuesday making similar accusations. The post was later deleted.

Cosby has never been criminally charged in any of the alleged rape cases.

In 2006, a Temple University employee claimed he drugged and groped her in his mansion. Cosby settled that case outside of court.
