The film adaptation for the Naughty Dog video game franchise "Uncharted" has furthered in development, revealing the possibility of Chris Pratt to portray Nathan Drake, and Oscar Winner Mark Boal signing on as screenwriter upon its release date.
In recent news surfaced about the "Uncharted" movie adaptation reveals that the video game's protagonist upon the release date and "Uncharted" movie lead character Nathan Drake has been offered to actor Chris Pratt.
Chris Pratt is an American actor known for his work in the recent movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "The Lego Movie" both in 2014. His other films include "Wanted', "Jennifer's Body", "Bride Wars", "Money Ball", "Zero Dark Thirty" and "The Five-Year Engagement". Does this mean that he will soon be seen in the "Uncharted" movie upon its release date?
According to All Things Uncharted, Chris Pratt was offered the part of Nathan Drake in the upcoming "Uncharted" movie adaptation however, turned it down. Although the reason for Chris Pratt's decline hasn't been revealed, it has been speculated that there might be a conflict in schedule as the actor has been linked to another film, "Cowboy Ninja Viking" currently under development.

Mark Boal has been reportedly commissioned to review the current and existing "Uncharted" movie script created by Davis Guggenheim. Mark Boal is said to be in "a three week production polish" of the "Uncharted" movie in time for its release date.
Meanwhile, "Uncharted" movie release date has been set for June 10, 2016. This "Uncharted" movie release date is the target of Sony, hopefully though they are able to settle Nathan Drake's actor soon to avoid delays.
