‘Frozen 2’ News And Updates: Jack Frost As Elsa’s New Love Interest? Speculations About Sequel Surface Online Following Success Of The Disney Movie

| By

Following the success of the 2013 Disney animated series, "Frozen", clamor for a sequel surfaced online quickly. While Disney remains mum about "Frozen 2" save for the short films following Elsa and Anna, plot and character rumors have continued to surge online.

Among the most recent rumors of the supposedly upcoming "Frozen 2" is the appearance of "Rise of the Guardians" lead known as Jack Frost.

Jack Frost is the spirit of winter who is physically a teenager, and who believes that rules and obligations are hindrances to having fun. Played by Chris Pine in the 2012 animated film, Jack Frost is not being set as a love interest to "Frozen 2's" Queen Elsa, according to rumors online.

Queen Elsa and Jack Frost both are able to control winter, and would probably be good companions for one another. Save for one thing: the rules and obligations part. While Jack Frost is all about fun, Queen Elsa undoubtedly will be bound by responsibility as she reigns her kingdom by the end of the film "Frozen". Although Queen Elsa and Jack Frost could pose a possibly charming combination, their speculated love affair will most probably lead to bigger conflicts.

Other speculations of "Frozen 2" reveals that what has been reported online to be the "Frozen" short films are actually the sequel to the 2013 "Frozen" full length film as apparently Disney has decided to follow "Frozen" with short films only.

Hallels shares Bob Iger of Disney talking about the possibilities of "Frozen 2" saying, "In order to make the perfect movie sequel, the filmmakers have to write the perfect follow-up story for it. Otherwise, 'Frozen' won't be as good anymore and that would surely disappoint everyone."

After all the rumors and speculations, one report says it all after Disney has yet to comment on the numerous sequel "Frozen 2" reports online. Cinema Blend, shares that "Frozen 2 seems inevitable. It's just not official. We reached out to Disney, who had no official comment on the state of 'Frozen 2'. But the writing's clearly on the wall."
