Television personality Samantha Harris teamed up with Nestle JUICY JUICE this summer to promote the Feeding America initiative JUICY JUICE Fruit for All Project to try to get more fruits and food out to children of the United States who are malnourished, starving, or unable to get in contact with a healthy amount of food.

"The Fruit for All Project is a natural extension of the JUICY JUICE vision, which is to provide at least one full serving of fruit per serving," Rob Case, president of Nestlé's Beverage Division, was quoted as saying in the press release. "We're thrilled that through the Fruit for All Project, we're able to broaden that commitment by partnering with supportive organizations and providing fruit servings to those in need."

The hunger drive, running from May 31st through the end of August, will drive to deliver over 35 million pieces of fruits to families and children in dire need of food, said a press release by Nestle on Friday. Also, a piece of fruit will be sent out to a starving child or family member in need of nourishment each time JUICY JUICE snacks are purchased.

"I've always felt passionately that no one should have to suffer from hunger, but now that I am a mom, I know how devastating it would be to struggle to provide healthy meals for my kids," Harris stated for the press release. "I'm delighted to be involved in a program that will help provide nutritious fruits that are so critical to a child's development."

In addition to purchasing JUICY JUICE snacks to aid in sending fresh fruits to those in need, the official Facebook page for the brand will allow consumers to participate in challenges like quizzes, puzzles, and games, listed the press release, which could further go into donating more fruits.

"We're honored JUICY JUICE is partnering with Feeding America to help provide up to 35 million pieces of fresh produce to those in need," Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, said for the press release. "This partnership will drive a significant increase in the fresh fruit distributed through our National Produce Program while at the same time engaging families to join in the fight against hunger within their own communities."
