Turtle Rock Studios released the official info graphic of the test game for the upcoming "Evolve's Big Alpha" that they ran from Oct. 30 until Nov. 4. As the statistics showed, the "Big Alpha" weekend was a success with its recorded 1.3 million rounds played.
Reports said the five-day test game was "a rather popular affair" considering the info graphic released by Turtle Rock Studios, who is also the minds behind "Left 4 Dead" video game. The 1,327,493 rounds were won by humans by 753,414 versus monster's recorded wins 574,079.
"Big Alpha" statistics also showed 22.9 percent of the players chose to be Assault while a close 22.4 percent chose to be a Monster class. Medic type players have a total of 19.5 percent while some 18.6 percent claimed Trapper type. Lastly, there are 16.4 percent of player who chose to be Support class.
The tester play also recorded a whopping close to 7.2 million views on Twitch which translates to 2 million hours watched that Turtle Rock said "long enough to travel more than half way across the Milky Way at the speed of light."
"Evolve's Big Alpha" has also recorded the longest round at 40 minutes which is close to the world record for not blinking which is clocked at 41 minutes.
With the evident success of the five-day test game, the entire team behind the upcoming survival game thanked the players who participated in their server tests. The developers also promised to make the video game better before its release.
Together with 2K Games, Turtle Rock Studios said, "We appreciate that you took time out of your lives to help us test our game." The Evolve Team also added, "In the end, what we learned from the Big Alpha is only going to make the final game that much stronger."
"Evolve," with a recently launched game map called Armory, is slated for a Feb. 10, 2015 release for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
