Kayem Foods announced that it teamed up with another Florida sports team to become their latest food distributor during games in the coming years: baseball team the Miami Marlins.
Kayem and the Marlins joined for a multi-year sponsorship and licensing agreement, according to a press release issued by the food company on Wednesday, where the baseball team would exclusively sell their fast food products, like the Kayem Franks and Sausage, during their games every season at Marlins Park. They would be the official brand of Franks and Sausage for the team and baseball field.
"We're excited to partner with a revitalized Marlins team and add our distinct flavor to the fan experience at Marlins Park. Floridians have really embraced our top-quality franks and sausage," Bob Kufferman, Kayem Senior Brand Manager, stated for the press release. "Available at the new Park or at your local market, you can enjoy Kayem wherever you are watching the ball game or at your next family cookout."
Other local Florida teams who offer Kayem Foods at their at-home season games include the National Football Team Jacksonville Jaguars and their home base, EverBank Field, who signed a multi-year deal to sell their goods to sports fans just months ago. Kayem, according to the press release, is also the "Official Hot Dog" of the National Hockey League team the Tampa Bay Lightning, MLB team the Tampa Bay Rays, and college football club the Florida State Seminoles based in Tallahassee.
"We are proud to introduce our fans to the Kayem brand this baseball season," Brendan Cunningham, SVP of Corporate Partnerships, Miami Marlins, was quoted as stating for the press release. "It's all about offering our fans the best baseball experience and we are confident Kayem products will help deliver that promise."
Other professional sports teams that offer Kayem hot dogs and sausages, as listed in the press release, include the Boston Red Sox and their Fenway Park, and the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium.
Kayem Foods, which was founded in 1909, and are available in general grocery stores and supermarkets across the United States. Their all-beef hot dogs promise a distinct bold flavor thanks to a unique blend of spices; and Kayem's Italian Sausage contains the franchise's pork recipe - neither brand, said the press release, contain fillers, and are MSG- and gluten-free.
