Singer Solange Knowles, 28, has wed her longtime beau video director Alan Ferguson, 51, on Sunday in New Orleans, according to Time.
While a performer in her own right, Knowles is arguably best known as the sister of singer Beyonce, who was present for the ceremony.
Beyonce was joined by her husband, rapper Jay Z, and their young daughter, Blue Ivy.
Knowles and Ferguson married at the Marigny Opera House at 2 p.m.
Prior to the ceremony the pair arrived on painted white vintage bicycles.
Knowles wore a cream pantsuit with a plunging neckline paired with bright red lips.
Her pantsuit was designed by designer Stéphane Rolland.
Ferguson, too, wore a similarly colored pantsuit.
"Beaming. Calm. They looked pretty calm, relaxed on their wedding day," said one witness, to People Magazine in a statement. "Definitely happy."
Other guests included the singer's mom, Tina Knowles, and the bride's son, Daniel Julez, (with ex-husband Daniel Smith) and hit singer Janelle Monae.
Prior to the ceremony the wedding party celebrated what is being reported as a pre-wedding bash at Indywood Cinema, also in New Orleans.
The bash, an event the theater owner described to People in a statement as "pretty adorable," was held Friday.
Ferguson has directed music videos for Katy Perry, John Legend, Janelle Monae, Nelly Furtado and now-sister-in-law Beyonce.
Two videos that he directed for Beyonce, "Party" and "Dance For You" earned him a BET Award for Best Video Director.
The newly wed couple, Solange Knowles and Ferguson, reside in New Orleans.
