Now, that the Motorola Droid Turbo is now official and exclusively distributed by Verizon in the US, it is a threat to the iPhone 6 and other Android phones in the market today.

Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 6 is still dominating the market today and outsells its sibling the iPhone 6 Plus.

Though a successor of the Motorola X that boasts a stunning design, Motorola Droid Turbo carries a rugged design.

It runs on Android 4.4.4 and may receive the update as soon as Motorola officially rolls out the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
On the other hand, the iPhone 6 is powered by the second gen 64-bit chipset that supports a dual core 1.4 GHz processor and supported by a 1GB of RAM and runs on Apple iOS 8.
In addition, the Droid Turbo features a 32Gb anx 64Gb internal storage and expandable external memory up to 128GB. Apple has stick to its internal memory only with 16Gb, 64GB and 128GB variant.
Battery
The Droid Turbo may have stepped it a notch on its battery life among Apple and Android phones. It is backed up by a 3900 mAh that Motorola claims that it can last up to 48 hours. Motorola also noted that it features fast charging capabilities that a 15 minute battery charge allows userup to 8 hours usage.
Though the iPhone 6 only offers 1810 mAh it can still provide a long battery life. According to Ndtv, " There's a separate co- processor called the M8 for sensor input, which helps save battery life by allowing the A8 to go to sleep while physical activity is constantly detected and processed in the background."
Camera
The Droid Turbo sports a 20.7MP camera that according to an Engadget review it is good for low light and outdoor shots. It also sports a 2.1MP front camera,.not bad for a selfie snapper.
Apple like its previous flagship the iPhone 6 sports an 8MP rear camera like its 5s but improved with its True Tone dual-LED flash, its aperture is still f/2.2 and the pixels are still bigger, at 1.5 microns. Its front camera has a new sensor, a better aperture and better low-light photographs.

The Motorola Droid Turbo is exclusively available on Verizon, while the iPhone 6 costs $649 off contract.
