Xiaomi is rumored that it will launch the Redmi Note's successor alongside with the cheapest Android smartphone.
The leaked photo of the alleged Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has been circulating over the internet quite some time now. But as IB Times reported that, " GSMArena doubts the authenticity of both the images and it even goes on to claim that the device in the picture may be another device from Xiaomi."
In contrast Phone Arena speculated that, " There may be a possibility that Xiaomi may launch the Redmi Note 2 with a completely revamped design."
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is rumored to be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor.
But Phone Arena added that instead of Snapdragon SoC, the handset may feature a MediaTek MT6595 processor.
The Redmi Note 2 is speculated to sport a 13MP camera but GSM Arena added that
"Regarding the camera, a problem arises. In the image that surfaced today (which you can see above), near the camera there's an inscription touting its resolution, and it's clearly not saying 13.0 MP. More like 8.0 MP, though it's tough to tell precisely. So either the Redmi Note will sport an 8 MP snapper, or this picture is showing us some other device."
The Redmi Note 2 may also sport a 5.5inch screen display with 1080P resolution and a massive 3,500 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, it is also rumored that Xiaomi might launch a cheap Android phone priced at $65 with a 720P display, 2GHz processor and 1GB RAM.
Following the footsteps of HTC, Xiaomi is also in the works of a GoPro like camera.
But you must take note these are unofficial and Xiaomi is yet to confirm these rumors.
We'll keep you posted on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 update. Stay tuned!
