Recent news related to the "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") release date reveals that Universal Pictures' Donna Langley announces more that what fans expected. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Langley shares that while "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7") is the last installment where Paul Walker is cast member, this surely isn't the last of the series.
Langley shares, "We think there's at least three more. Paul [Walker] is, and always will be, an integral part of the story. But there are many other great characters, and it's also an opportunity to introduce new characters. I think it's still a growing franchise. We'll see what happens with 'Furious 7', obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular. So we think that there's more to mine there. But we're of course very mindful about fatigue."
Paul Walker who plays the character Brian O'Conner died in a vehicular accident in November 2013. He was in the middle of filming "Fast and Furious 7" (now "Furious 7"). The production proceeded to film the remaining of Paul Walker's scenes with the help of his brothers Caleb and Cody.
