It has been reported that there is no truth to Amanda Bynes' claims regarding her parents not giving her money for shelter and only lives for $50 a day.
As TMZ first reported, a source close to the Bynes revealed that Rick and Lyn Bynes got the She's The Man star a room in a Glendale hotel complete with food and car services, but the 28-year old Bynes just doesn't like the location. She wanted to stay anywhere near Hollywood or West Hollywood, but her parents would not give in to her demands, thinking that her staying in those posh places can only mean trouble for the former Nickelodeon star.
But as expected, the troubled star insisted on staying in West Hollywood with 3 of her friends, one of whom, is her hair stylist. A new report from TMZ stated that one of the girl's mother who signed the lease for the West Hollywood apartment, is asking Amanda's parents, Rick and Lyn Bynes, to pay for the damage done by their daughter, which caused $1,500. The former Nickelodeon star reportedly burned cigarette holes and stained a blue hair dye in the carpet, among others. One of Bynes' friends also told TMZ that the 28-year old star is like "2 different people-- sometimes she is sweet and quiet, and then in a snap she would turn angry and rude."
Bynes' parents, clearly, are not willing to pay for the said damage, saying that her friends knew from the onset that the Easy A star is (emotionally and mentally) unstable, when they let her stay in the apartment with them, even if it's "against her parents' wishes." Rick and Lyn Bynes are standing by their decision to let their daughter stay in a place that will not give her the means to screw up.
