Major Lazer and Ariana Grande's song for the 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' OST album is a club banger!
18-year-old Lorde, who is the sole curator of the third instalment's soundtrack album previously announced who managed to snag the mysterious 5th track in the tracklist earlier this month.
The 'Royals' hitmaker tweeted in early November, "yup.. track 5 from the mockingjay: part 1 soundtrack is ALL MY LOVE - @MAJORLAZER feat. the one and only angel pipes sista @ArianaGrande."
Her reveal hyped up fans of both musicians as well as 'Hunger Games' fans, or Tributes as they are called.
Ariana Grande shared the official audio of the song last week, to the delight of avid followers. What surprised fans, however, was the upbeat, electronica feel of the song.
"All my love, all my love / All my love's up on the mountain top," Grande croons in a breathy voice Major Lazer's synths.
Where would the song would fit in the movie? Based on the trailers and teaser photos released by Lionsgate, 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' looks to be even darker and bloodier than the previous two movies. When will the production insert a club song within the current storyline?
According to Entertainment Weekly, Major Lazer and Ariana Grande's 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' OST contribution could possibly be used in the credits part of the movie instead of of within the film itself, seeing as most of the songs used to score the past films were grittier and with a darker in tone.
Lorde previously released her own composition for the record, 'Yellow Flicker Beat,' as well as The Chemical Brothers collaboration with Miguel and the 'Team' singer herself, 'This Is Not A Game.'
Fans will have to wait until Monday, November 17 to purchase the entire album. The track list also boasts Kanye West, Chvrches, and Charli XCX as its contributors.
As for knowing Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) Gale (Liam Hemsworth) and the rest of the 'The Hunger Games' cast's fate, followers will have to wait until November 21 to find out what will happen to their favorite Tribute.
