Is it possible to see a cameo of Steve Carell in 'Magic Mike XXL?'
After starring with Channing Tatum in the historical biopic, 'Foxcatcher,' E! News had to ask the comedian about his co-star's other famous film. Carell and Tatum joined their co-stars during the AFI Fest premiere of 'Foxcatcher' in Hollywood last Thursday.
According to 'The Office' star, stripping alongside Tatum in the 'Magic Mike' sequel will "probably never" happen.
When prompted for a reason, the 52-year-old funny guy simply answered, "Because I don't have a good body."
Whether Carell has a good body or not, he definitely doesn't need to strip to still enjoy a great career.
According to E! News, the 'Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' star is currently getting some Oscar buzz thanks to his performance as John du Pont in 'Foxcatcher.'
"It makes me supremely uncomfortable," he admitted about the attention. "I think it makes everybody uncomfortable."
However, he did admit that it was "nice to be talked about that way."
He further shared, "It's nice to be part of that conversation. You can't put too much stock into it."
All this Oscar murmurs seem to have no effect on the funny man's teenage daughter, Elizabeth, however. Carell revealed that she was more excited that her dad was acting alongside Tatum in 'Foxcatcher.'
"She's probably picking out a dress right now," he joked after revealing Elizabeth's crush on Tatum. He added that his daughter and Tatum have yet to meet in person.
Would she be more excited if she saw Steve Carell in 'Magic Mike XXL' where Channing Tatum is also starring in? Then again, that would a bit awkward for the teen.
She would have to be contented with seeing both her dad and Tatum in 'Foxcatcher' for now.
