One Direction's Zayn Malik is apparently too "flippant" about his upcoming wedding and his fiancé is well, not really too happy about that.
The 21-year-old star had asked his girlfriend, Perrie Edwards, who sings with the British band Little Mix, to marry him last year in August. For a time, speculation about their upcoming wedding was rife, before things kind of winded down and the wedding planning had seemed to fade into the background while the boys were busy on their Where We Are tour.
In an interview recently with British magazine Star, the young Malik had admitted that he had not thought much about when they would get married, and just said that he and his fiancé are "just kind of engaged".
An insider had revealed that "Perrie was upset when she watched Zayn's interview, as he was being so flippant about their relationship. It was like he didn't care at all."
There were rumors previously that suggested the soon-to-be husband and wife, would walk down the aisle next year, in 2015. However, things currently seem a bit uncertain and the One Direction star together with his bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, will be touring again from February 2015, when their On the Road Again shows take down Australia.
The insider continued, "Zayn originally thought that getting engaged was the natural next step in their relationship, but he's found the pressure to get married overwhelming. They rarely get to see each other and Zayn's bandmates are wondering if he's getting cold feet."
When the English singer's fiancé Perrie was asked recently about when they will really wed, she admitted: "I get asked this question all the time but I just haven't started planning anything yet unfortunately." She continued saying, "I'll get there eventually but just haven't got time at the moment and I want to do it properly."
