Haters really gonna hate! All haters out there better beware! Bashing on others will reciprocate a hate stab from your victim's BFF. In the case of the 24-year-old country-pop music singer Taylor Swift, celebrity BFFs are all ready to take down and defend her.
Recently, 18-year-old New Zealand singer Lorde has come to the defense of the blonde-haired Shake It Off singer after Katy Perry's rumored DJ boyfriend Diplo took a shot at Swift's booty.
Diplo wrote on the social media platform Twitter on November 12, Wednesday: "Someone should make a kickstarter to get Taylor swift a booty." - BABY DADDY (@diplo)
In a post following his booty comment, Diplo then tweeted out a link to the campaign for the faux cause, which had apparently raised $85 towards its $3500 goal as of the next day, Thursday morning.
Fancy singer Lorde quickly came to the Love Story singer's defense and responded to the nasty attack of Diplo. She tweeted in a post, that was re-tweeted more than 25,000 times as of Thursday morning: "@diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm."- Lorde (@lordemusic)
Just earlier this year, Swift and Katy Perry had a falling out due to issues that were not disclosed in detail. The pair had been friends for years but the friendship did not last and eventually went south. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine earlier this year, Swift spoke about the inspiration behind her 1989 track, Bad Blood.
According to Swift, "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' Then last year, the other star crossed a line, She did something so horrible, I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!"
After the interview came out, Perry suggested that she knew she was the one being referenced to by the young country singer when she tweeted: he may be that someone, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing," which people speculated was a backlash at Swift.
