The HTC Desire Eye has been released and available exclusively on AT&T.
The HTC Desire Eye is "Optimized for taking selfies, HTC Desire EYE is AT&T's first smartphone with a 13 MP front- facing camera and a dual LED flash," and "Both HTC Desire EYE and RE have many great features that allow you to capture your moments - all on the nation's most reliable 4G LTE network,6 covering more than 300 million Americans, said Jeff Bradley, Senior Vice President of Device Marketing and Developer Services, AT&T.
The HTC Desire Eye has the dimensions of 152 x 74 x 8.5 mm and weighs 154g. It features a 5.2 inch Full HD 1080p and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a micro sd.
The HTC Desire Eye's selling point is its incredible 13MP rear and front camera. This is the first smartphone that offers same megapixel on its cameras.
The front-facing camera is also equipped with 88- degree wide-angle lens that can capture a wider background and is optimized for group shots, featuring a full power LED flash, Ecumenical said in a report.
"The HTC Eye Experience's face tracking keeps you perfectly framed at all times. And because staying in touch means more than just talking to a single person, up to four people in the same room can also be tracked comfortably, with each face cropped and positioned on the screen for maximum clarity,' HTC in an official statement that describes the 'selfie' focused phone.
Ecumenical also added that, AT&T offers the HTC Desirey Eye in different contract options. It can be availed through Next Plan 18 $0 down payment with $22.92 monthly fee for 24 months, or Next Plan 12 $27.50 monthly fee for 24. It is also available for $149.99 under a two-year deal, or no commitment for $549.99.
