First off, "Devil's Third" release date has been set on a vague 2015-and no updates on that information yet. With "Devil's Third" in development since 2008, luckily the release date will not be moved as developer Valhalla Game Studios seem to be on a continuing production process, hopefully uninterrupted. "Devil's Third" now reportedly runs on Unreal Engine 3 game engine and everything is going according to planned. While the 2015 release date seems too vague, it's good that Valhalla hasn't delayed the launch.
"Devil's Third" is a hack and slash, first person shooter video game exclusively created for Wii U. "Devil's Third" storyline according to reports online reveal that the backstory of the game is based on Kessler syndrome theory where collision of debris from outer space occurs. The debris scattered in space has destroyed military and civilian satellites causing unrest and war around the world as the balance of power is tilted. "Devil's Third" is set around the world with American, European and Asia locations.
Upon the "Devil's Third" release date, players are said to be introduced to a lead male character known as Ivan who is set to battle it out in the Wii U game. Melee combat is one feature of "Devil's Third" upon its release date, with single or multiplayer game mode.
In a recent interview with Japanese gaming magazine "Weekly Famitsu", designer Tomonobu Itagaki shares "Devil's Third" spoilers and news with fans upon the release date. He talks about the protagonist in the game, featured in the trailer.
Tomonobu Itagaki shares bits of "Devil's Third" saying, "Yeah, his name's Ivan, and he's the protagonist of the game. I've been making this game together with Mr. Yamagami of Nintendo for a while now, and one day he came to me with this really burning intensity. He asked me, 'Why aren't you showing off the Valhalla spirit?! Why don't you really show what Japanese developers can do?!' His words really life a fire under us, leading to the creation of Ivan, the protagonist, and the in-game music. His words were really inspiring to me. And I have my own take on ninja - I told myself. 'Alright, let's do this!'
