Microsoft Lumia 535 Release Date: The First Lumia Phone Without Nokia Branding Now Official! Check Out This Low-End Phone Priced At $136

Finally, the much awaited first upcoming Microsoft Lumia phone this 2014 has finally unveiled today. The Microsoft Lumia 535 is the first Lumia phone without the Nokia branding.

The announcement was made today at Lumia Conversation Blog.

"Today sees the launch of the new Microsoft Lumia 535, our "5x5x5" smartphone package bringing a 5- inch screen, 5-megapixel front- and rear-facing camera, and free integrated Microsoft experiences (such as Skype and OneNote) to more people at an affordable price."

The Lumia 535 will be available in two variants; dual sim and single sim. Though the Microsoft has already dropped off the Nokia branding. We can still some resemblance with the previous Lumia phones. Thus, the Lumia 535 like other Lumia phones will be available in colorful hues. Microsoft added on its announcement that the Lumia 535 will be available in Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey, and Black colors.

Furthermore, this upcoming Microsoft Lumia phone this 2014 boasts a stunning 5MP front camera.

Jo Harlow, corporate vice president for phones at Microsoft said in a statement:

"Innovation should be available to everyone, and we are doing this through the very best integrated Microsoft services free and out-of- the-box, a 5 MP wide-angle front- facing camera and a spacious 5 inch, qHD screen - all at an affordable price."

The Lumia 535 the Lumia 535 measures 140.2 x 72.45 x 8.8 mm and weighs 146 gram and carries a qHD display at a 960 x 540 resolution (220 ppi).

The 5MP front facing camera is a major upgrade but it is still a bit of disappoint that it still runs on a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and lacks 4G or LTE support like its predecessor Lumia 530 priced at $99 dollars.

The Lumia 535 is supported by a 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and expandable up to 128GB of external storage via sd card. It is also powered by a 1,905 mAh removeable battery that can last up to 11 hours of GSM talk time as Microsoft had estimated.

This low-end phone is speculated to be retailed at $136. Microsoft also added that the Microsoft Lumia release date will be in selected markets like China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh this month.
