Jennifer Lawrence is certainly all over the internet (she's a gif-worthy lady, if ever there was one), but you'll never find her live-tweeting Real Housewives or Instagramming behind-the-scenes selfies from set.
That's because, on a personal level, she's not a fan of social media.
On Tuesday, the 24-year-old actress (joined by her Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1 co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth) talked about her no-tweeting stance at length on Nick Grimshaw's BBC 1 radio program.
"I will never get Twitter," she said. "I'm not very good on phone or technology.I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me."
"I don't really understand what it is," she went on. "It's like this weird enigma that people talk about."
"It's fine, I respect that, but no, I'll never get a Twitter," she continued. "If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it's me, it most certainly is not." (Note on this: J.Law does have an official, verified Facebook page-presumably, her people run this on her behalf, but it's legit.)
The morning show host noted how serious Jen got with that answer. "I had that one locked and loaded," she said with a laugh. "I really like laser focused [on that answer]...it's because the internet has scorned me so much that I feel like it's that girl in high school that I'm like, 'Oh you want to talk about her? Yeah I'll do that!' Take my hoops off, I'm ready to go."
