Toys R Us is also pushing other efforts on Thursday to make shopping experience more smoother these holidays like putting employees called "Guru for Play Stuff" in front of the store for customers who have questions or help navigating the store.
The company has also put up newer express lanes to make the checkout process quicker for customers who are buying two items or less.
Aside from that the company has also added features that enable employees to scan items inside the cart without having to carry them over a checkout counter and provide a bar code that can be scanned to speed up the process.
Toys R Us is definitely up its game this holidays, and is overshadowing J.C. Penney, Macy's, Kohl's who also opened its doors on Thanksgiving Day, but much later than 5:00 p.m. that Toys R U. planned.
