At the end of the last episode of Gotham TV series, people were totally shocked by the revelation made about Oswald 'the Penguin' Cobblepot (played by Robin Lord Taylor). Oswald has been working with Falcone (John Doman) all this time. Oswald wanted a war between Falcone's side and another mob owned by Salvatori Maroni and it is happening, thanks to his brilliance in manipulating people. It is not just viewers who where surprised by that revelation, even the cast themselves.
Talking to E! Online, Robin Lord Taylor said that he himself freaked out when the script for the Penguin's Umbrella episode was passed onto him. The Gotham TV series cast even blurted out words "No Way" in disbelief.
"I threw the script on the ground and said 'No Way!'" he said. "It was an amazing reveal. It made a lot of things make more sense for the character and for me playing the character."

Robin said he didn't expect that kind of twist as he was only able to read the script few days before shooting for Penguin's Umbrella episode of Gotham began.
"When we're about to shoot something I get the script a couple of days before so I'm just in the dark like everybody else."
Jada Pinkett Smith, who plays Fish Mooney and Cobblepot's former boss-turned-enemy, was also not informed about that big reveal. Now, she thinks that her character is at disadvantage with everything that Cobblepot did.
"Fish Mooney is strategic but I think what most unfortunate right now is that Fish doesn't understand the game that she's playing," Pinkett-Smith explained.
"I think she doesn't understand how ruthless and calculating Oswald is. Once she realizes that, it'll be interesting to see how she matches it because I think that Fish can. I just don't think she understands that is the realm that she is in. So she's a little behind the 8-ball right now."
