The soon-to-be-mom Blake Lively and Martha Stewart was seen reuniting at the latter's American Made event in New York City on Saturday, November 8.
Despite Stewart's subtle jabs in the past at the new lifestyle site of the Gossip Girl alum named Preserve, both women seemed to hit it off during their panel. Stewart introduced Lively as her "friend and neighbor."
The 27-year-old former actress and now a homemaker, looked lovely and relaxed as she took the stage. The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants star donned a long-sleeve flowing white dress and accessorized it with a turquoise-colored statement necklace. Steward told Lively, "You looked very different when I last saw you," teasing her of her growing belly. During their conversation, the wife of actor Ryan Reynolds, had revealed details about both her professional and personal life.
Lively and Stewart are actually real-life neighbors but first met through a mutual realtor. When Stewart asked about Reynolds, Lively said happily: "When we met, Martha was like, 'I know how to ride a motorcycle!' That's the only woman who can creep up on my man and I'd be okay with it." Currently, Lively and Reynolds are enjoying their country home in upstate Bedford, New York.
Lively also talked about her website, Preserve. She said, she is having fun sharing some of her favorite things to buy, wear, and eat. But the actress also admitted that she doesn't know "what the heck" she's doing when it comes to how much she will incorporate motherhood on Preserve. She said, "I've always been hungry for knowledge and experience. I don't have that amount of expertise but I have an incredible amount of passion."
"I want to create my own career and I want to create my own world," the actress continued. "That's part of the reason I created Preserve: I needed a world that is my own and I am in charge of that success or failure at the end of the day."
