Jennifer Lopez is "happy for" her ex-husband, Marc Anthony on his upcoming wedding.
The 45-year-old Jenny From The Block singer married Marc Anthony in 2004 as soon as she split with actor Ben Affleck but since 2011, they've been separated. Though their divorce was only finalized five months ago, the sassy singer is not bothered by her former beau's new engagement to girlfriend Shannon De Lima.
The I Luh Ya Papi singer told New York Daily News, "I'm happy for him."
Just recently, the 6-year-old singer Marc Anthony planned to give marriage another shot and got engaged to his model girlfriend, Shannon De Lima. The singer-songwriter was reported to have proposed back in March. They have been dating on and off since 2012.
The couple are set to tie the knot in mid-November this year in the Dominican Republic. This is the third marriage for Marc Anthony.
Jennifer wanted to make it clear that although she's single now, she plans to have another relationship in the future. "I am totally single. It's not going to be forever. Someone great will come along."
J-Lo has been touring the United States to promote her new memoir True Love. In her book, the Selena actress opened up about her love life. It also tells about how her marriage to Marc Anthony failed. She also revealed that her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck was her "first real heartbreak." She stated in her book, "Marc came back into my life three days after I should have been at the altar saying 'I do' to another man. Thinking back, maybe deep down I knew that this was a Band-Aid on the cut, that my wound hadn't been stitched or healed."
Before Ben and Marc, Lopez was married to waiter Ojani Noa in 1997 and ended up in a lawsuit in 1998. She also dated dancer Cris Judd from 2001 until 2002. She also dated choreographer Casper Smart from 2011 until June 2014.
