Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Offers Online Ordering Option for the Holidays

Got big holiday plans but no time to spare? Don't fret, Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, the country's largest barbecue brand makes it easier for busybodies to prep this holiday season with its online ordering option with added discounts to boot.

Dickey's Barbecue reported record-breaking sales (80 percent higher than last year) the day before Thanksgiving, and is already revving up for the busiest time of the year-the holidays.

This year, Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants reaching out to busybodies who want a perfect festive meal, without the hassle. Customers can now order their barbecue honey hams, smoked turkeys and Cajun-fried turkeys together with a full holiday package through the online ordering option.

Aside from that, Dickey's Barbecue is also offering discounts to customers who are registered to their loyalty program, the Big Yellow Cup Club.

"We make it easy for guests to avoid crowds and order their holiday meals on-line and then pick them up at their local restaurant," said Christie Finley, chief brand officer for Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc.

"We are even offering links on all of our social channels (including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) and special offers for our most loyal guests to encourage a seamless shopping experience across multiple channels," Finley added.

The National Restaurant Association reported that almost 14 million Americans planned to order parts of their Thanksgiving meals from a restaurant, while 4 million planned to order their whole Thanksgiving meals. Now, Dickey's Barbecue is reaching out to those who want their meals served before them, without the added fuss.

Dickey's online ordering option is now available in 93 percent of branches and contributed 3 percent of the sales of the brand.

"While we offer multiple touch points for guests to order their holiday meals, on-line ordering has proven to be a revenue stream with real growth potential for our brand," said Finley.

"We're ready for the holiday season and again expect to set new industry records with holiday sales," Finley added.
