How To Get Away With Murder Spoiler Update: More Scoop On Marcia Gay Harden's Recurring Character

| By

The How to get Away Murder TV series is filled with characters with strong personalities. There's the lead cast Annalise Keating (Viola Davies) who despite her cancer continues to find ways to get things go her way. Then there's Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay) who finds the courage to troll Annalise despite the latter taking up her case for allegedly killing a friend. Keating's apprentice are all brave, too. Now, as if these people are not enough, the show is adding one more that could make the clash of personalities more exciting.

A few days ago, Variety reported that Marcia Gay Harden will join How to Get Away with Murder for a key role. The website was still clueless about Harden's role as "sources were mum on character details." However, they confirmed that "the Tony- and Oscar-winning actress will be a recurring guest star and will appear after the series returns from its midseason finale Nov. 20."

TV Line has an exclusive scoop about the new How To Get Away with Murder character and it looks like that she's no pushover. If there will be clashes of opinions and death stare, Harden's character will surely put up a great fight.

In the spoiler segment by Matt Webb Mitovich, a fan asked if he has any spoiler update regarding Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder (both shows are created by Shonda Rhimes). Here is what he said:

"I choose Murder (and always do, heh....), if only because I've got a few details on Marcia Gay Harden's recurring role, which sounds right in her wheelhouse. The character is described as intelligent, well educated, confident and friendly, if not also a but intimidating. Hailing from an academic family, she does not suffer trophy wives fools, and was raised to speak her mind - and that is exactly what she does, especially if witness to an injustice."

Before How to Get Away with Murder, Marcia Gay Harden was last seen in Trophy Wife as one of the main characters. Harden is one of the veterans in the business and for sure, the ABC series won't get her for a lame role.
