Amanda Bynes News: Amanda Bynes Seeks To Be Free From Her Parents Conservatorship After DUI Arrest In New York

| By

Amanda Bynes' legal conservatorship will soon be split between her mother, Lynn, and a professional private fiduciary.

The former actress' lawyer, David Esquibias, told Access Hollywood Wednesday he'll be working closely with a private trust firm to make sure Bynes' primary needs are met.

"My goal is to get her permanent adequate housing," he said, adding the changes to her conservatorship could come into effect as early as Friday.

The news comes days after the former Nickelodeon star announced on Twitter her parents weren't giving her "access" to "any of [her] funds" and that she was attending weekly sessions with a psychologist and psychiatrist to get "unconserved."

Bynes' parents filled for a conservatorship last month after the "She's The Man" actress was placed on a second 5150 psychiatric hold following her being accused of shoplifting in NYC and weeks after she was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles.

Esquibias said reports that Bynes and her parents are feuding are false and claimed the Byneses have had "very amicable communications over the last five days."

His statements came on the same day Bynes took to Twitter to share a series of cryptic messages about being her appearance, having to protect herself from those who hurt her, and needing access to her wealth.

The actress also mentioned her parents in her rant, disclosing she is "so mad" at them for not granting her access to her money.

Bynes has been having a difficult time for the past few years.

Last year, she has been on Twitter calling people ugly and posting a lot of inappropriate photos of her.
