The 24-year-old Fancy singer, Iggy Azalea, had bought a house with her NBA player boyfriend, Nick Young. According to her 29-year-old boyfriend, he was so surprised at how normal Azalea is, given the style and swagger she has in her music.
According to Young, "From her songs, I thought she'd be all about going to clubs and partying, but it's the opposite of that," he told DuJour magazine. He continued, "She wakes up early every morning to take care of her dogs, and she cooks for me. From her rapping, I was very surprised that she could do all that. She's a really cool, down-to-earth person."
The Aussie singer,whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly, has been in a relationship with Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Nick Young since November 2013. Both Azalea and Young were featured in the March 2014 issue of GQ magazine.
According to the NBA player, even Azalea's TV preferences are real and unpretentious. He said, "We fight over the TV remote because she watches TLC and the Weather Channel all night. We argue all the time, but we get it worked out. We understand each other."
The young athlete first revealed his attraction to the Black Widow rapper last October 2013. They started dating shortly after and a year later, they are living together and already making plans for the future.
He said of their future plans, "It's come up a couple times." The athlete also added that he "always wanted to be married and have a family" at the time when he was still growing up.
At the moment though, the 6 feet 7 inches NBA player is happy just co-habitating with his girlfriend. "Me and Iggy just bought a house. We've been getting really close lately. I've never been with somebody like this. So, I'm taking it as a challenge."
