Looks like Marc Anthony plans to give marriage another shot. The 46-year-old singer is engaged to his model girlfriend, Shannon De Lima. This was revealed by a source to Us Weekly. The singer-songwriter, who has been dating the model on and off since 2012, had apparently proposed back in March.
The couple are set to tie the knot in mid-November in the Dominican Republic. This is the third marriage for Marc Anthony.
Marc Anthony was in a relationship with Debbie Rosado and the couple had a daughter named Ariana in 1994. Anthony adopted a son, named Chase at that time. Marc then married former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres on May 2000 in Las Vegas. The singer and former Miss Universe have two sons together, Cristian Anthony Muñiz (born on February 2001) and Ryan Anthony Muñiz (born August 2003).
There were several problems in their marriage that led to the couple's separation in early 2002. They later reconciled and renewed their vows in a formal ceremony on December 2002 in Puerto Rico. Finally, their rocky marriage came to an end in October 2003. Dayanara filed for divorce in January 2004.
A highly publicized relationship between singer Jennifer Lopez and Anthony ended in their marriage in June 2004. Lopez gave birth to their children, twins Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximillian David Muñiz who were born on February 2008. Three years after, Anthony and Lopez announced their separation, with Anthony filing for divorce on April 2012.
In total, Anthony has six children - 6-year-old twins Max and Emme with Jennifer Lopez, 13-year-old Cristian and 11-year-old Ryan with Dayanara Torres and Ariana and Chase with Debbie Rosado.
This marriage will mark the singer's third time getting married. His marriage will also add another kid in his life, De Lima's 7-year-old kid Daniel.
