In 'The Originals' season 2 episode 5 last Monday, Klaus nearly turned to ash after Mikael stabbed him with the white oak stake. Thankfully, Khol helped Divina to temporarily deactivate the stake's power, giving Cammie a chance to save Klaus - and in essence, Marcel, Hayley and all the other vampires he sired - from dying.
For the first time ever, Klaus, Marcel, Hayley and Davina put up a united front against Mikael, forcing him to flee in his weakened state. This temporary alliance is short-lived, however. Davina and Khol quickly escape, presumably to look research the spell that will disconnect Klaus from the vampires he sired.
On the other hand, Elijah had been remembering the things in his past that he kept hidden away. Did those memories really happen or did Esther manipulated those memories to suit her purpose of "cleansing" her son?
According to The CW's promo video for episode 6, Klaus will get his brother back - or at least an ominously altered version of himself. Did Esther manage to "cleanse" him? How dangerous will he be to Klaus and Hayley?
